Police Trying To Find Whoever Grew Pot Next To Playground

CAIRNBROOK, Pa. (AP) - State police are trying to figure out who's responsible for growing marijuana next to a playground in Somerset County.

Troopers from the Somerset barracks are asking for the public's help because they haven't been able to track down a suspect since the plants were found about two weeks ago in Shade Township.

Police say the plants were found growing in the tree line of some woods that border the Travis J. Stout playground. Somebody notice the plants during a fundraising event known as "Operation Hope" to benefit the playground.
