Police Seek Suspects In Brazen Armed Robbery At Bellvue McDonald's

BELLEVUE (KDKA) -- Police are searching for two suspects who robbed the McDonald's in Bellevue at gunpoint earlier this week.

Allegheny County Police are concerned about the violence used during the holdup. They fear if these guys strike again, someone could get hurt:

It happened around 4 a.m. Monday along Route 65.

The robbers were able to slip into an unlocked side door. Once inside, they drew guns and quickly rounded up the six employees.

"They brought out all the employees, placed a gun to the heads of all the employees, actually striking two with the gun," said Lt. Thomas Ianachione, of Allegheny County Police.

Now police what the public's help identifying the suspects.

"Anytime someone's placing a gun at the head of anyone we're looking at the potential for serious harm," Lt. Ianachione says.

Eventually, the robbers forced the manager to open the safe and give them the cash. They fled out the same door they entered.

Police suspect they knew about the door before the stick-up. Now police want to track them down.

"None of the employees were seriously injured in the incident, but we want to get these actors as fast as we can, to ensure the public safety," said Lt. Ianachione.

They got away with about $2,000. They were last seen running across Ohio River Boulevard, and up into the neighborhood across from the McDonald's.

If you recognize them, call county police.
