Police Seek Suspect In Portersville Bank Robbery

PORTERSVILLE (KDKA) -- State Police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery this afternoon in Butler County.

It happened just after 1:30 p.m. at the First National Bank in the 1200-block of Perry Highway in Portersville.

According to police, the suspect threatened the teller and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a white male who was about six-feet tall and had a stocky build. He was wearing a gray ski mask and blue Penn State sweatshirt.

He got away with an unknown amount of money.
