Police Seek Suspect In Plum Armed Robbery

PLUM (KDKA) -- Police are looking for a gunman who held up a gas station Friday afternoon in Plum.

The robbery happened just before 3 p.m. at the Sunoco on Unity Center Road.

According to Plum Police, the suspect coved his face with a bandana, had a large, black semi-automatic handgun and told the clerk, "Give me all your money!"

He got away with about $400.

Police describe the suspect as a dark-skinned African American male in his mid-30s. He was about 5-foot-7 with a round face and sparse facial hair.

He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, a straight-brimmed Pirates baseball cap and black gloves.

Police say he was last seen heading towards the intersection of Unity Center Road near the Plum border with Penn Hills.
