Police Seek Suspect In Castle Shannon Pizza Shop Robbery

CASTLE SHANNON (KDKA) -- Police are looking for a suspect following a robbery at a pizza shop in Castle Shannon.

According to police, Nobby's Pizza Shop was held up around 9:30 p.m. Monday by a man claiming to have a gun.

Surveillance video released by police shows a masked man who appears to show a large knife enter the store. Authorities say he demanded money from the register and also told the clerk he had a gun.

The suspect is described as a white male, standing at about 5-foot-4-inches to 5-foot-8-inches tall with a thin build and brown eyes.

In addition to the ski mask, he was also wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and brown shoes or boots.

He got away with $200 to $300.

Police say after he left the store he crossed Castle Shannon Boulevard to Popular Avenue, and was last seen turning left onto Arch Avenue.
