Police Searching For Two Suspects Who Robbed Man On South Side

SOUTH SIDE (KDKA)- Police are hoping the public recognizes two people involved in the robbery of a man from Mt. Washington.

Around 11:25 p.m. on Dec. 13, police were called to the intersection of South 19th and Sidney Streets on the South Side. A 27-year-old man said he was walking along the street when a man and woman approached him. The woman had a black pistol on her and demanded that he hand over his belongings.

At the time, the woman was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. She is 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighed around 115 pounds.  The man with her was around 6-feet tall and weighed about 170 pounds. He was wearing a grey hoodie and black pants.

Police say the two robbers ran down South 21st Street with the victim's wallet and cell phone.

The robbers were caught on surveillance video using one of the stolen credit cards.
