Police Find Missing Woman Suffering From Alzheimer's, Dementia

HERMITAGE (KDKA) -- An 81-year-old woman who went missing in Mercer County earlier this week was found overnight.

Pearl Frisk was last seen leaving her home Monday afternoon in West Middlesex, Shenango Township.

She was going to her granddaughter's home a few miles away in Hermitage, but never showed up.

Police found her around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, driving in Tyler County, West Virginia.

Officials say there was much concern for Frisk because she is in the early stages of Alzheimer's and dementia.

Her family is going to pick her up.
