State police say Kuntz ran out the facility's kitchen door, across the back parking lot and down a hill toward North Irvine Avenue. A Community Corrections Monitor witnessed the escape. Staff heard the kitchen door alarm go off and saw Kuntz fleeing on the security monitor.

Kuntz was serving a sentence for the manufacturing/selling/delivery of drugs or possession with intent to deliver, which is a felony charge. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest.

Anyone who sees Kuntz or has any information on his whereabouts should call the Pennsylvania State Police Mercer Barracks at 724-662-6162 or Mercer County 911.
