Police Search For Upper St. Clair Home Invasion Suspect

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for a burglary suspect who was confronted by a homeowner in Upper Saint Clair on Friday morning.

It happened just after 10 a.m. at a home on Warwick Drive.

Police say the burglar got in through a back door and started rummaging around the place.

He made it all the way up the second floor of the home where the homeowner found him.

There was a brief confrontation and the suspect took off.

He gave a description of the guy to police, but they say it's not a whole lot to go on.

"We had a white male individual described with dark hair, in his 30s, with a thick Middle Eastern accent," said Lt. John Sakoian, of the Upper Saint Clair Police.

Police say the burglar got away with some jewelry.

Police are now investigating whether anything else was taken.

For now there have been no arrests.
