Police: 74-Year-Old Uses Grill Fork To Attack Woman She Thinks Is Dating Her Boyfriend

BUFFINGTON (KDKA)- A Fayette County woman has been charged, accused of using a grilling fork in a weekend assault.

On Friday, police say 74-year-old Mildred Walters attacked a woman in Buffington.

Police say Walters received a letter stating that her boyfriend was dating another woman down the street from her home.

According to the release, Walters grabbed a large metal twin-pronged grilling fork and walked to 40-year-old Emma Wilson's home.

Police say Walters attacked Wilson with the metal fork, leaving several cuts on both of Wilson's forearms. She did not require medical attention.

Walters was arrested and has been charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
