Police Pull Man Over For Speeding, Find Thousands In Cash In Car

ARMSTRONG COUNTY (KDKA) -- State police pulled a man over for speeding in Armstrong County on Friday night and found a large amount of cash in the car.

According to state police, the 36-year-old man from Tarentum was stopped for a speeding violation at state routes 28 and 66 in Rayburn Township around 9 p.m.

When state police pulled him over, they found about $14,000 in cash.

State police believe the cash is involved in narcotics distribution. The money has been seized.

The suspect has not yet been identified. It is unclear what charges he may be facing.
