Police Probe 3 Shootings, One Fatal

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating three shootings.

Two people were shot in Carrick overnight.

Police say a 31-year-old man was shot in the neck around 2:30 a.m. along Brownsville Road and Copperfield Avenue.

He's in serious but stable condition.

It's believed the gunman may have gotten away in a black Chevy Malibu.

While police were at the scene, a second victim – 25-year-old man, showed up at UPMC Mercy Hospital with a bullet wound.

Police believe the shootings may be related.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating a shooting that happened Friday in Greene County.

State Police say 43-year-old Terry Weyrick was shot and killed around 9 a.m. on Morford Road in Springhill Township.

Police say he was shot by 53-year-old Randy Anderson after the two had been drinking and got into an argument.

Anderson is charged on multiple counts, including homicide, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
