Police Probe Report Of Gunshots Fired During Aliquippa Home Break-In

ALIQUIPPA (KDKA) -- Police in Aliquippa are investigating after a shooting victim showed up at their police station after gunshots were reportedly fired during an overnight break-in at a home.

According to police, it all started around 3:20 a.m. when officers were called to a home in the 1800-block of Main Street over reports of the break-in.

While on their way to the home, police say Beaver County emergency dispatchers alerted them that a gunshot had been fired; however, when they got there, the suspect was already gone.

Meanwhile, at the Aliquippa Police Station, police say a person arrived asking for help with another person who had been shot.

That person suffered gunshot wounds to the shoulder and torso and was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.

There's been no word on the person's condition.

The investigation continues.
