Police: Prankster Stole Man's Vehicle Knobs

LEEPER, Pa. (AP) - State police are trying to find the prankster who left a man unable to drive home from a rural Pennsylvania tavern - by stealing all of the control knobs from the inside of the man's unlocked car.

Troopers from Marienville say a 39-year-old man was drinking at the Knotty Pines restaurant in Farmington Township, Clarion County on Saturday night.

That's about 70 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

When the man went to drive home early Sunday morning he discovered that someone entered his car - which was unlocked while parked outside the tavern - and removed all the knobs and other control levers inside the car.

Troopers at the Marienville barracks are investigating.
