Police Need Help Tracking Down Oakland Bank Robber

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Police hope surveillance pictures help them track down the man who robbed a bank in Oakland.

The robbery happened at the Citizens Bank on Fifth Avenue around 4:50 p.m. on Monday.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, entered the bank and handed the teller a note.

The suspect stated that he had a gun, but he never showed a weapon.

After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the suspect ran away from the scene.

The man is around 5'8" tall, wearing a black t-shirt, pants, white tennis shoes and a dark baseball cap with the numbers 804.

He had a scruffy beard that is turning gray and he was wearing glasses.
