Police: Man Sought For Stealing $1,000 Worth Of Meat From Walmart

LATROBE (KDKA) – State police in Westmoreland County are looking for a man who was caught on camera stealing $1,000 worth of meat from a Walmart store.

According to police, the man targeted the Latrobe store on April 1 and April 6.

In each case, the man allegedly stole about $500 worth of choice cut meat products.

Police do not believe he was stealing the meat in order to feed a family.

"This is something that's been happening consistently in our area, over and over and over again," said Trooper Stephen Limani, of Pennsylvania State Police. "So, it's something we're concerned about, we're trying to find out what exactly are they doing with this food, why are people consistently stealing expensive food."

The suspect fled the scene in a red pickup truck.
