Police: Man Hid Heroin In "Chips Ahoy" Package With False Bottom

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A local man is in jail, after police say he was carrying heroin in a Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookie package.

The Tribune-Review reports that 22-year-old Brandon Campbell Taylor was found by police with the drug-filled cookie package outside of a fast food restaurant in Greensburg.

Undercover police spotted him when a woman approached his car and walked away with something, in an alleged drug deal.

Police later tacked down Taylor and found him with marijuana, cash and the Chips Ahoy package which had a false bottom, concealing heroin, according to the newspaper.

Taylor then tried to run away and led police on a foot chase, but the newspaper reports he was later caught.

Taylor is currently being held in the Westmoreland County Prison on $50,000 bail.
