Police Make Arrest In Shaler Twp. Bank Robbery

SHALER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a bank robbery last week in Shaler Township.

According to Shaler Township Police, 28-year-old Sean Hein of Sharpsburg is facing multiple charges in the April 17 robbery at the First Commonwealth Bank on Saxonburg Boulevard.

Police said the suspect passed a note to the teller but did not threaten anyone or show a gun. He got away on foot.

Hein is charged with robbery, terroristic threats, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and possessing instruments of crime.

He is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
