Police Looking For Woman Accused Of Robbing Ross Township Gas Station

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Police are on the lookout for a woman, accused of robbing a Sunoco gas station in Ross Township.

It happened just before midnight, at the Sunoco on Perry Highway.

Sai Jagan was inside the story and witnessed the robbery.

"She just said, 'Open your counter and give me the money.' I came out rushing, we looked around and didn't find the vehicle she was in, so I dialed 911," Jagan said.

Jagan was inside the store visiting his friend, who was the clerk at the Sunoco gas station.

His friend says the woman was wearing a black hoodie pulled over her head. She was in her 30's and was around 5-feet to 5-feet-3-inches tall. She allegedly fled in a silver SUV.

"Obviously, we were scared, because she was holding a weapon inside her hoodie," said Jagan.

The woman may have fled down Bellevue Road. Ross Township Police are investigating the robbery.
