Police Looking For Thief Who Broke Into Penn Borough Business

PENN BOROUGH (KDKA) -- State Police in Westmoreland County are looking for the person who broke into a Penn Borough business early Tuesday morning.

Troopers say someone used an unsecured company vehicle, with the keys left in the ignition, to burglarize the scrapyard at Mangery Crane Service, in the 900 block of South Railroad Street.

The incident happened before midnight and 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3.

The company says $578 worth of scrap copper was taken, along with two Husqvarna saws valued at $1,800.

State Police are investigating the burglary.
