Police Looking For Suspect After Man Is Fatally Shot In Marshall-Shadeland

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are looking for a suspect after a man was fatally shot on a street in the city's Marshall-Shadeland section Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just before 2 p.m. in the 3100-block of Shadeland Avenue.

According to Public Safety officials, the victim was sitting in a car in front of his home when an unknown vehicle approached his and came to a stop.

Investigators say a tall, African American man got out, approached the victim and then fired multiple shots.

After the gunfire, the suspect got back into the vehicle, which then left the scene, heading toward Stayton Street.

The 29-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Police are investigating the incident.
