Police Look For Greensburg Business Burglars

GREENSBURG (KDKA) – Police are looking for two men who broke into a disaster restoration business in Westmoreland County.

It was under the cover of darkness last weekend when two the thieves hit the Jim Wood's ServPro business on Ludwick Street in Greensburg.

"Our guys noticed the doors were broken into, and we looked around and identified a whole bunch of tools taken," said Wood.

They then looked at the surveillance video. Wood says it captured two men burglarizing his business.

"I don't think this was their first rodeo. They've done this before," said Wood. "On the videotape you see they were here for at least an hour. They went over the fence three different times. He worked on one door for five minutes. Everything was dead bolted, but if you have enough will you can get through these things. They knew what they were doing they took Milwaukee Sawzalls, DeWalt drills and a little bit of building materials."

After they were done, they headed out in what appears to be a PT Cruiser and took off. This isn't the first time the business's been hit.

"This one was probably $1,500 in stuff; the other one $9,000. I'm getting a little tired of it," Wood added.

The search is on for the missing materials as well as the two people who took them.

If you know anything about the break-in and theft, you are asked to call the Greensburg Police.
