3 Shot In Homewood North, Police Recover Several Weapons

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police are investigating after three men were shot Thursday morning in the Pittsburgh's Homewood North neighborhood.

Officers were called to the scene near the corner of Brushton and Frankstown avenues shortly before 5 a.m.

Police are focusing their investigation on Bett's Market.

"The latest on [Thursday's] shooting is that first of all, this investigation is progressing forward at a rapid pace. Our detectives are actively pursuing all leads and gathering all evidence. At this time, we have determined that the incident may have started inside of Bett's Market and spilled out onto the streets. At this time, there are no arrests but we hope to make some soon, as always," Pittsburgh Public Information Officer Alicia George said.

Brenda Waters' Report:

Two of the victims are in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, while a third is in good condition at Allegheny General Hospital.

So far, police have recovered several weapons from the scene.
