Police Investigating Stabbing At Homewood Bar

HOMEWOOD (KDKA)- Pittsburgh police detectives are looking into a stabbing at a Homewood bar.

It happened around 1 a.m. outside of DJ's Bar on Frankstown Avenue in Homewood.

A 34-year-old man was stabbed and was seen bleeding along the sidewalk outside of the bar.

Police removed a Steelers jersey found at the scene as evidence. They also recovered a knife at the scene.

The victim was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and was last listed in critical condition.

Police believe the victim was involved in a dispute with the suspect inside the bar, which continued outside. The suspect is described as being an African-American male, wearing a red hat and brown jacket. He is believed to be in his 60's.

So far, no arrests have been made.
