Police Investigating After Man's Body Found In Oakland

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating a suspicious death after remains were found in Oakland.

Authorities say the body of Andrew McMunn was found Sunday afternoon off of Melwood Avenue. Authorities initially said he may be 23-years-old.

Police say his body was discovered when a building owner and tenant were examining the property to see if any maintenance needed to be done.

Homicide detectives say McMunn's body had bruises on it and was partially buried under debris.

It's still unclear how he died, autopsy results are pending.
