Deadly Shooting In Homewood

HOMEWOOD (KDKA) - A man was shot and killed in Homewood Thursday night.

It happened near Kedron Street and North Lang Avenue around 6:30 p.m.

Police heard five to eight gunshots in the area. When they arrived on Kedron Street, they found 28-year-old Fredrick Douglas lying in the street, unresponsive.

Officers tried to stop the bleeding until paramedics arrived, but Douglas died from his injuries on the scene.

At this time, a motive has not been established and no arrests have been made.
