Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Penn Hills Pizza Shop

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened in Penn Hills overnight.

It happened at the Domino's Pizza on Frankstown Road.

Police say a black male wearing a red "movie mask" robbed the store at gunpoint, with what looked like an AK-47. Police say they aren't sure if it was a real gun or if it was loaded.

The suspect asked for money, but grabbed the whole cash tray when the employee didn't provide it fast enough.

No word on how much he got away with.
