Police Investigating After Woman Is Found Dead In Crashed Car

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Police are investigating after a woman was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head in a car that had crashed on the city's South Side.

According to police, someone found the vehicle just after 6:20 a.m. on Dove Way and called 911.

The car had crashed into a pole.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 43-year-old Kimberly Waller.

Police say she was found unresponsive in the car. Her death has been ruled a homicide.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Sunday.

Police continue to investigate.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police.
