Police Investigating After Shooting In Homestead

HOMESTEAD (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in Homestead on Wednesday evening.

The shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. in the 1600-block of West Street.

According to Allegheny County officials, the 27-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds. His name has not been released.

Allegheny County and Homestead police departments are investigating.
