Report: Police Investigating After 3 Stabbed In Ambridge

AMBRIDGE (KDKA) -- Emergency crews were called out in Beaver County Wednesday afternoon after several people were injured in a stabbing.

Emergency officials say it happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 600-block of Maplewood Avenue in Ambridge.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the incident began as fist fight involving as many as six to nine men and escalated.

Two men were taken to a local hospital by ambulance, the Post-Gazette reports. A third man later showed up at the hospital after being driven there by someone else. There's no word on their conditions.

The Post-Gazette reports one man is in custody and police are looking for another suspect.

The investigation into what caused the fight continues.
