Police Investigate Robberies At Monroeville Grocery Stores

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two Monroeville grocery stores were robbed.

The first one happened at the Giant Eagle on William Penn Highway just before 11 a.m.

A short time later, a nearby Shop 'n' Save was also robbed.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male who was wearing a gray hoodie and has a mustache. Reports indicate he didn't reveal a weapon.

He also reportedly fled in a burgundy vehicle.

No word on if anyone was hurt or how much he got away with.
