Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In Beaver Falls

BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) -- Police in Beaver County are investigating a fatal shooting.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the victim – 23-year-old Anthony Slappy, Jr. – was shot on Tank Alley near his grandmother's house in Beaver Falls around 10 p.m. Friday.

Slappy suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach, the Post-Gazette reports.

He was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he died overnight.

Police are looking for two people in connection with the shooting. They were reportedly wearing dark clothing, police tell the Post-Gazette.

Beaver Falls Police continue to investigate.
