Police Investigate After 8-Year-Old Dragged By Bus

PERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) – Police are investigating after an 8-year-old girl was dragged by a school bus in Lawrence County.

State Police say the accident happened just before 4 p.m. at Blue Jay Avenue and Raymond Street in Ellwood City.

Police say the young girl was getting off the bus, and the doors closed on her backpack.

The driver went to the next stop before noticing the girl was stuck in the door.

Emergency crews were called to treat the girl for minor injuries.
