Police Continue To Follow Leads In Butler Co. Murder

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are still trying to figure out who shot and killed a woman inside her Butler County home.

When family arrived, her 5-month-old was still strapped into a car seat.

Investigators are trying to piece together the last few hours of 42-year-old Tara Bouie's life.

Bouie was found dead in her home on Tenacity Trail in Adams Township around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say she had a gunshot wound to the head. Her baby was found inside unhurt and still strapped in a car seat.

Her family called police after they couldn't get a hold of her.

Police are investigating some leads and say they are still looking for a suspect.

US Marshalls and deputies responded to the house back in September to arrest Kenneth Harrison.

Harrison is in jail for the murder of Tyrone Tomman outside of Art's Tavern in the Strip District back in August.

Police say he's one of two people who fired shots at five people as they left the tavern.
