Police Confiscate Dozens Of Animal Mounts, Guns From Washington Co. Home

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Authorities have confiscated dozens of animal mounts, as well as two-dozen guns, from an Oakdale man.

Police say 48-year-old Richard Bartoletti was arrested after he illegally sold guns to an undercover officer.

Bartoletti was prohibited from having any firearms because of his criminal history, authorities said.

Police say they found 25 guns and 46 animal mounts at his father's Washington County home.

Officials say it's also illegal under state law to sell animal mounts. At the home they found mounts of pheasant, turkey, deer, bobcat and even a dog.

Bartolettie has been charged on multiple counts, including violations of the uniform firearms act.

He is currently in the Washington County Correctional Facility on a $25,000 bond.
