1 Student Injured In Armstrong Co. School Bus Crash

PLUMCREEK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - One student was injured when a school bus collided with a coal truck this afternoon in Armstrong County.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. in Plumcreek Township on Route 422.

Officials say the coal truck rear-ended the school bus during a snow squall.

Police say the school bus had as many as 15 students on board.

The coal truck reportedly crashed over the side of a hill.

The student that was injured was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
