Police Arrest Suspect In Fatal Knoxville Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting last week in Knoxville.

Pittsburgh Police and U.S. Marshals arrested 20-year-old Russell Spence on Wednesday.

Spence is accused in the Nov. 30 shooting death of 23-year-old Shanique Sanders on McKinley Street.

Sanders was found lying on the street and was rushed to UPMC Mercy Hospital, but died from her injuries a short time later.

Spence is now facing charges of criminal homicide, simple assault, carrying a firearm without a license and theft by unlawful taking.
