Police Arrest Man For Attacking Relative With Shovel

GREENSBORO (KDKA)- A Greene County man is behind bars, accused of attacking a relative with a shovel.

It happened around 9:15 p.m. on Friday, outside of a home on Minor Street in the borough of Greensboro.

According to the state police report, 36-year-old Jarred Evosevich took a metal spade shovel from outside of the home. The victim in the case, a 38-year-old woman, claims Evosevich then smashed out the windows of her car and the windows of his car as well.

After that, the victim said Evosevich punched her in the mouth and then struck her in the back with the shovel. She was taken to Uniontown Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Evosevich was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
