Police Arrest Man Accused Of Robbing, Burglarizing Bethel Park Pizza Shops

BETHEL PARK (KDKA) - Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a pizza shop in Bethel Park, and burglarizing another pizza shop.

Police say Andrew Dugdale robbed the Domino's Pizza on Library Road in Bethel Park back on June 21. Employees say a man with a long sleeve T-shirt, blue jeans and a cloth covering his face demanded money. No weapon was shown.

The very next day, June 22, a man with a similar description robbed the same Domino's Pizza.

Bethel Park Police also linked Dugdale to two separate burglaries at Pittzarella on Library Road. One happened on June 1, while the other took place on June 20.

When asked about the amount of money Dugdale stole, Bethel Park Police Chief Timothy O'Connor said, "Probably in all four episodes, it was less than $100 each time."

The chief also said, "It's like a mini crime wave on Library Road, Route 88."

Bethel Park Police, with the assistance of Baldwin Police K-9 unit and video surveillance, were able to take the suspect into custody on Monday.

Police say they have linked Dugdale to the two robberies and the two burglaries.
