Chilly Weekend Brings Temps Down To 30s

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Temperatures are starting to dip close to freezing.

Saturday and Sunday will be chilly with lows in the 30s and highs in the mid-40s.

A few showers are expected Saturday, but Sunday should remain mostly dry.

The Laurel Highlands could see a small amount of snow.

However, some winds out of the north will have a wind chill effect making some areas feel like the 20s and 30s.

"As you get up over 1,500 to 2,000 feet, the feels like temperature will be in the 20s," KDKA's Jon Burnett said.

"Be prepared to bundle up," he added.

But if you're not quite ready for winter, don't worry; Sunday will be the coldest of the next five days with a warm up expected Monday and Tuesday.
