Pittsburgh Weather: Cool Down Arrives, More Rain Expected This Week

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- After coming off the warmest day we have seen so far in 2019 on Sunday, we will see chilly temperatures return for a day.

High temperatures on Tuesday are expected to stay in the 60s, thanks to a breeze coming out of the north. This is a short stay for the cooler temperatures, though.

A warmer set-up begins mid-week. With temperatures warming up, we are also going to see our rain and thunderstorm chances increase.

Wednesday afternoon, showers and thunderstorms become possible and stay scattered though much of Thursday.

Another round of rain and storms begins late Friday. This one, though, will stick through the holiday weekend, the way things look right now. At least the temperatures will besSummer-like, with most highs later this week in the 80s.
