Pittsburgh Weather: Lingering Chance For Rain, Storms Possible Through Week

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Several chances for rain and thunderstorms will show up in the forecast this week.

That said, the driest part of the forecast is now through Wednesday. While we could see a spotty shower or storm pop up Tuesday afternoon, most areas will see a dry day.

The same goes for most of Wednesday. However, late Wednesday, the next disturbance arrives, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms.

These will carry into Thursday, Friday and Saturday before departing the area. This means dry conditions, right now, are expected for the Marathon on Sunday.

Temperatures will also warm up midweek and stay warm into the weekend.

In short, it would be best to get the yard work done by Wednesday evening, because soggy conditions will carry into the weekend.
