Pittsburgh Weather: Seasonably Warm Temperatures And Snow All Within 24 Hours

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A warm, pleasant Saturday gives way to blustery, rainy weather tonight and into Sunday morning.

A strong cold front will drop temperatures almost 30 degrees overnight with lows hovering near the freezing mark Sunday morning.

Rain showers will drop up to an additional .50 inches overnight and those showers will end as wet snow showers Sunday morning. Some spots in the Laurel Highlands and along the I-80 corridor could see a coating of snow Sunday but the warm ground temperatures will melt most of what falls.

Sunshine returns Monday with highs in the lower to mid-40s for the Pirates' home opener at PNC Park. Sunshine and milder temperatures will arrive starting Tuesday.
