First Alert Weather Day is still in effect for Saturday night and again for Monday for the potential for severe storms.
We are under a tornado watch through 9 p.m., which means the ingredients are in place for possible tornadoes from any storm that reaches severe limits.
A flood watch is also in place through early Sunday morning for some counties which received heavy rainfall overnight.
The main timing for these storms will be through sundown and large hail, damaging wind, isolated tornadoes and heavy downpours are all possible. Things quiet down overnight, and we'll have sunshine returning Sunday.
Monday will bring another chance for some strong storms later in the afternoon and evening, so have a First Alert weather day in place for Monday for now and will watch model data to see if the timing changes and if the threat holds together.
