Pittsburgh Weather: Kicking off a week of dry conditions and sunshine

CBS News Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's a marvelous Monday to get outside!

Alert: None

Aware: No rain chance until Saturday

Sunshine and high temperatures right where we should be -- around 70 degrees, our normal high for this date -- will have everyone smiling Monday.

If you don't have tickets to tonight's Penguins playoff game against the Rangers, the weather will be perfect to enjoy outdoor viewing at the big screen!

The dry and warm weather will stick around all week thanks to a big ridge of high pressure across our region.

This will allow temperatures to warm a bit each day, heading toward 80 degrees by late week.

Our next rain chance holds off most likely until Saturday afternoon, but we could have showers then and a few showers/storms later on Sunday.

Until then, enjoy the dry, warm weather.
