COVID-19 In Pittsburgh: VA Healthcare System Begins Administering COVID-19 Vaccines

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has begun administering COVID-19 vaccinations.

More than 100 veterans at the VA's Community Living Center in O'Hara Township got their first shots on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the VA began administering the vaccine to frontline workers.

According to the VA, they are following the CDC guidelines on who gets the vaccine first, including high-risk veterans and staff members.
