Pittsburgh Public Schools holds swearing-in ceremony for Superintendent Dr. Wayne Walters

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Friday was a big day for Pittsburgh Public Schools.

Acting Superintendent Dr. Wayne Walters officially was sworn in as the district's permanent superintendent. The ceremony was at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12 downtown.

Walters, who has also served as a teacher and a principal in the district, officially replaces Dr. Anthony Hamlet.
