Pittsburgh Police Searching For Gunman In East Hills

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot in the arm in the city's East Hills neighborhood early Friday morning.

The shooting happened in the 2300-block of Wilner Drive near a housing complex just before 2 a.m.

Police say the 21-year-old male victim went to the East Hills Security Office after being shot. He was transported to UPMC Presbyterian in stable condition.

According to police, officers continued to hear shots being fired as they were clearing the housing complex, but no additional victims or suspects were found.

 

Police say the gunman is described as a black male who was wearing red pants at the time of the shooting.
