PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto's mother has passed away.
A spokesperson for the Mayor's Office confirmed Peduto's mother passed away at her home in Scott.
"This morning I lost the most inspirational person of my life, my mom, Eva Maria (Zarroli) Peduto," Mayor Peduto said on Twitter.
