Pittsburgh Man Says Police K-9 'Tortured' Him With Bites

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Pittsburgh man is suing, claiming city officers "tortured" him by letting a police K-9 bite him repeatedly in hopes he'd give up a gun he contends he never had.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports 34-year-old Antwaun Bush sued the city, it's former police chief, Nate Harper, and six officers who arrested him in February 2012.

The city isn't commenting on the lawsuit which contends Bush was in a parking lot with friends when police responded to a call that a man had a gun during a domestic dispute.

Bush contends police used a stun gun on him before letting the dog attack him.

Bush says charges including aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm were eventually withdrawn by prosecutors before he plead guilty to citations for disorderly conduct and harassment.
